Who We Are

The Rainbow Ranglers Dance Club (RRDC) of Houston, Texas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1994 threw the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered communities of Greater Houston. Our Mission is to promote Country Western dancing, activities and music to all persons without regard to age, race, sex, religion, national or cultural origin, sexual orientation, or disability. We accomplish our mission through Social Interaction, Educational instruction & Community Service.

Social Interaction

To encourage and foster social and dancing interaction among the membership, our Social Activities Committee (SAC) under the direction of the Vice_President plan various monthly social outgoings as well as a monthly bar tour called the First Friday Bar Gallup.

Educational Instruction

To Provide education to the public on dancing as an art form and related subjects useful to the individual and beneficial to the community, our Education Committee (ED) under the guidance of the Education Director conducts FREE Dance Classes at our host Bar, The Brazos River Bottom twice a week. Beginners Lessons are taught on Tuesday evenings from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Intermediate Lessons are taught on Thursdays from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The Brazos River Bottom Country Western Dance Bar is lovated at 2400 Brazos Street, Houston, TX.
